French Revolution mysteries

If you like reading historical mysteries, there is a series set in Paris before and during the French Revolution by Susanne Alleyn: The Cavalier of the Apocalypse, Palace of Justice, Game of Patience, A Treasury of Regrets. They are quite accurate historically and give a good sense of the atmosphere of the city at that time, especially during the Terror and after.
